Melvyn Levine, MD

 

Melvyn Levine was born in Brooklyn, NY.  He attended Columbia College in New York City from 1958-1962 and received a BA degree cum laude.  He received his MD from New York University School of Medicine in 1966.  While there, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for his academic achievements.  He did his pediatric residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA) from 1966-1969.  He was Chief Resident in pediatrics at Mass General from 1969-1970.  From 1970-1972, Dr. Levine served as a Major in the United States Air Force, and was stationed at David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base (Fairfield, CA).  While there, he ran the pediatric renal and arthritis clinics and was assistant chairman of pediatrics. 

He has been in pediatric practice in Medford since 1972.  He is a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School, Tufts Medical School, and Boston University School of Medicine.  He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
